Many of you know that Laura Levitan is my first cousin...yes...networking and connecting runs in the family!
Laura just started a new and exciting opportunity here in NYC (even though she will remain based in Atlanta) and I wish her all the best! Here is a nice letter she drafted to her friends that I wanted to share. -BillDear Friends:
First, let me wish you a very Happy New Year with thoughts for all things good personally and professionally!
I just finished my first official week with Mr. Youth and RepNation (having returned from NYC last night where I spent the week at our very cool offices in Chelsea Market) and I am thrilled about my decision to join this group!
Aside from being just terrific people, my new family are innovative, creative, strategically grounded, committed, driven and just plain amazing.
I learned so much from them this week that I came home and actually impressed my 14 and 17 year olds! (They were particularly amazed that we have Guitar Hero in the conference room and many use it! J). We also received extremely high reception on our work and capabilities in the several client meetings I attended.
To make a fantastic week even better, two articles were printed in respective trade media that reinforced independently the quality of the work we are doing.
First, ADWEEK wrote a cover article that shares new ways that innovative companies are utilizing brand ambassadors to deliver peer to peer marketing campaigns. A second related article interviews one of RepNation’s Jet Blue Ambassadors. I think you will find the article quite interesting!

So, as we kick off the New Year, I am extremely excited about what it holds for me and again wish all the same from you and would love for you to update me. I believe this is what networking is all about….
Warm regards,
Laura
