We had a blast earlier this evening at the opening reception of "Internet Week New York" held at Gracie Mansion with our host Mayor Mike Bloomberg. I was joined by my friends and colleagues Monica Stock and Limor Schafman and ran into so many buddies it was tough to keep count, folks like Robert Raciti (GE Commercial Finance), Sita Vasan (Intel Capital), John Havens (BlogTalkRadio), Laurel Touby (MediaBistro), Bob Greenberg (RG/A), Bob Sokol (Sun Microsystems), Lloyd Trufelman (TrylonSMR), Shelly Palmer (Palmer Advanced Media) and of course the"Commish" herself, KO, Katherine Oliver.
We also ran into friends who will be joining us tomorrow at the breakfast, including Natali Del Conte (above) from "Loaded" on CNET-TV. Natali and I have talked by phone and have been emailing for the past few weeks and I must say she is as bright, bubbly and as cute as I had expected...she is going to be a great addition to our panel and I look forward to more collaboation with her and CNET moving forward.
In the meantime, Natali was gracious enough to mention the breakfast on her show today:
