The Mission

The Long Island Music Hall of Fame is dedicated to the idea that our musical heritage is an important resource to be celebrated and preserved for future generations.

  • Inspires in each person the desire to explore and celebrate music in all its forms - rock, classical, blues, hip-hop, jazz, folk and many other genres

  • Is a place where the music community will find the support, resources and leadership necessary to aid them in that exploration.

  • Was created by a group of intensely dedicated Long Island music lovers from the publishing, education, music retailing, promotion and public relations industries.

  • The Long Island Music Hall of Fame Awards

An annual Hall of Fame Induction Gala honoring native Long Island musicians, as well as those who have lived a significant part of their life on Long Island.
